If a page on this site is wrong about your company

Write in and it gets fixed the same day. This site publishes court records about named businesses, and being wrong about one is the worst thing it could do. If a page names your company and the record does not support it, say which page and what is wrong, and it comes down or gets corrected immediately. You do not have to send a lawyer's letter first and you will not be argued with.

Two categories we have already had to fix at scale, in case one of them is yours. Adversary proceedings, which are lawsuits filed inside somebody else's bankruptcy, were once published here as though the named parties had filed. 623 pages were taken down rather than corrected, because the claim on them was wrong. And individual filings are never published at all, so if a page names a person rather than a company it is a defect.

There is nothing to buy here

Every page, search and tool on this site is free and there is no account. If a page anywhere asks you for money, it is not us.

What this site cannot help with

Not legal, credit or financial advice. This is a plain-language summary of a public court record. Bankruptcy outcomes turn on facts specific to each case. If money is at stake for you, talk to a lawyer. Businesses only. We deliberately publish nothing about individual bankruptcy filings.
