Short version: there is no account, no form and no payment on this site, and the searches you run here do not leave your browser.
This is the part worth understanding, because it is unusual. The single-company search on the home page and the customer-list checker at /check/ both work by downloading a static index file to your browser and matching against it locally. The names you type, and any list you paste or upload, are never sent to us or to anybody else. There is no server that could log them, because there is no server in that path at all. Close the tab and it is gone.
Each page load reports the path you visited to a counter we run, so we can see which pages are read. It records the page path and nothing else: no name, no IP address stored against it, no cookie, no identifier of any kind, and nothing you typed. Netlify, which hosts the site, also keeps standard server-side access logs as any web host does.
Nobody. We do not sell, rent or share information about visitors, and there is no lead sale on this site. There is nothing to sell.
The bankruptcy records published here are public records created by the federal courts. They are about business entities, not private individuals: filings by individuals are consumer-report data under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and are excluded at the point of collection rather than filtered later.
If a page names your company and the record does not support it, write in and it is corrected or taken down the same day. See contact.
